I love to rearrange furniture! I will be sitting on the sofa reading, or unloading the dishwasher, or playing in the playroom...and suddenly I feel the need to move something around! It's fun to rearrange furniture, take some clutter away, add a seasonal touch, or just move something and try it in a new spot. And that's what I did again this weekend. I kept looking at this corner in our family room and wanted to add a cozy spot for the kiddos to read. So I brought the green chair down from the playroom, moved this rustic red ladder out of my son's room, and added the library bucket underneath. Now we have a little reading corner for the kiddos and I love how it turned out. I hung a cute piece of artwork above it (just sitting in my decorating room in the garage) and it's complete! Until next time when I decide to do some more moving and rearranging...
What have you moved or rearranged lately and loved? It's a great way to do some spring cleaning and simplifying in your home!

BTW, I'm so glad to see you back to blogging. I missed reading your posts!
This looks great! I have been rearranging my daughter's room (not an easy task!) but I am like you, constantly thinking up things to change or move around. I remember my mother doing this, perhaps that is where it comes from for me. But isn't a change as good as a holiday? So they say!

ReplyDeleteShoot, love when my 4 year old starts pressing buttons :) Oops!
ReplyDeleteOh you sound just like me. I move furniture around all of the time! I love the library bucket. I am always trying to make sure the books don't get misplaced or stuck in with our own books and that is a great solution. Found your blog through the UBP12. Glad I did!
