Resurrection Eggs!

Have you seen these before?  Or maybe you already have your own set.  I just wanted to share them with you, in case you are interested.  They are called Resurrection Eggs and they are great way to teach your children the true meaning of Easter.  Each day you will read a passage of the Bible, have them open one colored egg, and find a symbol inside.  Then you will read what that symbol means and how it ties into the Bible passage.  A little booklet comes with the set, and gives you everything you need to read and explain.  As you go through the days, you will discover the true story of Easter. 

My kiddos love this set.  They wish they could open all of the eggs at one time, but I like to make them wait!  The rule in our house is that you may open and look at any of the eggs that we have already read about.  But you have to put them back where they belong and you can't open any new eggs!  And as you can see, now all of our eggs are in the carton because they have several of them out on the sofa as they play with them again. 

It's really fun to listen in on them when they open the eggs themselves and play with the little symbols inside.  You can start to see how much they understood of what you read and appreciate their hearts!  I encourage you to order your own set or visit a local Christian bookstore.  Your kiddos will love them!
