Started a Plate Wall...

I love the look of a plate wall and have been "eyeing" the wall in my dining room for a while as the perfect spot to start one.  But I had to take that first step and get things rolling. So, I headed to Goodwill and Marshalls to check out their plate collections.  I scored at Marshalls where I found several plates (mainly white) that were only a couple dollars each!  I picked up some plate hangers at Walmart and took them home.  There in my craft room, my supplies sat for about a week until I felt the urge to get the project started.  I layed them out in the floor, played around a bit with the display and started nailing!  Here's how it looks right now...

The cool thing about a plate wall is that I can add to it as I collect more plates.  I love changing things up a bit!  Do you have a plate wall in your home?  Or maybe a fun collection that you have displayed somewhere...please share!
