Here are some special ways to create some "sweetheart moments" for the month of May. Have fun trying out some of these activities and ideas for celebrations!
Mother's Day
I had a friend tell me once that Mother's Day would be just another day if it wasn't for our children and the blessings they are in our lives. So, to celebrate this special day and thank them for making the day so special...you will write a card for each of your children. Keep a box of these cards and years down the road, you can give them this box of special cards to read. They will love seeing all of the love and appreciation you hold for them. What a memory!
Mommy Outing
Another way to celebrate Mother's Day is to let mommy pick an activity for the day...whatever she loves! It might be some time at the spa or a pedicure with your daughter. It's your day!
A Day in the Garden
Even if you don't have room for a huge garden in your backyard, your kiddos would still love to find a spot to plant some seeds. Children love to grow things...especially if it involves using the hose or a watering can. Buy them a pair of garden gloves, just like yours and let them pick out some packets of seeds. Head outside for some digging, watering, and garden fun!
