So, to kick off the series...I am all about tablescapes! Each year I love to decorate the table for Thanksgiving and I love to do something different for each celebration. Are you ready for a collection of inspiring and creative ideas for your holiday get-together? Look above for some darling ideas from Dwellings and Decor to get your creative juices flowing! Here goes...
Okay, how cute are these labeled candles? If you know me...you know how much I love to label everything! So, why not put those labeling skills to good use and make a cute table centerpiece with a phrase like "Giving Thanks." So adorable!
How much fun to use some fresh flowers and bring them into the Thanksgiving centerpiece. This way you can choose the color scheme and the fall feel that you want! You can never have too many fresh flowers around your home!
If flowers don't do it for you, how about fruit? There's something elegant about pears, isn't there? How creative to use them as the place setting nameplate! It's affordable, sweet, and unique!
I love to use berries when I decorate. They add so much color and warmth to the tablescape. And chargers are another favorite that I pull out during the holidays. This seems to be a very simple but sweet tablescape! Grab some candles, berries, a table runner and some chargers...arrange and have fun!
This is how I decorated my Thanksgiving table last year. I took foam pumpkins, but you could always use real! And I cut the top off and added some floral stems. It brings in the fun of fall and the warm colors! This is another easy and affordable idea to dress up your holiday table! And what a great use for those Halloween pumpkins you were getting ready to toss!
I bought a set of six pumpkin soup bowls from Linens N' Things before they went out of business and I love them. It inspires you to try making a new soup each year also! But this year I am thinking of using the idea of lots of elegant glassware and candles. You can add sunflowers and bright colors with the candles. Or what if you did a more vintage look with whites, pale oranges, and browns with the glassware and candles! This might be the route I go this year. Thank you to Country Living for all of their fantastic photos and ideas! Check them out for more holiday cheer! I will continue to hunt for more inspiration and can't wait to share what I actually decide to do this year for our Thanksgiving celebration. I hope you find yourself "holiday inspired!"
